What's next
With all the hype of wellness care coming from the insurance companies, you would
think that more people would look for better care out side of medicine. That does not seem to be the case. all the papers, tv ads still think wellness comes from a bottle of pills.
Some day I hope people in the know wake up and really investigate true wellness care.

celebrex comeback
The newest commercial on tv is now touting the risks of ibuprofen and naproxsin in the effort to promote the use of celebrex. This is a real slick presentation. Using very fine print to create pictures of places and people that can benefit from this dangerous drug. The people spinning this tale must have spent months trying to make the drug legitimate. You have to listen and read very closely that these comparisons are for the prescription doses, however they imply that even over the counter meds are more dangerous than celbrex. The mighty drugs companies are just working over time to make themselves money and us more addicted to their drug as well as keeping more people sick with this drug.

A new day
Monday 1-7-08
What a day here, spring time in Missouri. Now is the time to evaluate what you are doing to make your health and life better. A better diet, more exercise and time to just relax. These are the real way to better health.

Guranteed income
Now more medication TV ads are telling us we must stay on their medication and probably some others for life to protect our hearts and health. Sure is a good way to increase bottom lines for the drug companies for life!!! Just maybe, better nutrition and exercise could build our health and our wallets.

Day 2
How about that! Right after I posted my first comments, Bill Mohur stated the
same sentiment on Letterman last night.

Are we being drugged by the media?
Does any one really listen to the disclaimers of drug advertising on TV and radio or read the very very fine print about the drugs advertised in the magazines and news papers? I hear/read more complications than improvement in health issues. These commercials are not a whole lot different than the cure all potions and elixors sold off the back of a covered wagon.
Maybe if we were more and better informed about proper diet, exercise, rest and stress reduction, most of these medications would not be necessary.
